GREAT PERFORMANCE FOR KART REPUBLIC IN ANGERVILLE!

Kart Republic completed this first round of the CIK FIA European Championship on top of the charts!
Our chassis have dominated in OK class with Sauber Karting Team, Rosberg Racing Academy and our partner CV Performance.
We also showed great performance in OKJ, despite not being so lucky on such a tricky race track, as some accidents occurred, keeping our drivers from scoring better positions.

OUR GENERAL MANAGER DINO CHIESA:

“Our week end started very good in OKJ as we scored pole position with French driver Capietto, and the rest of our drivers have all been pretty competitive. We manage a good number of drivers and 50% of them made it to final: this is a great goal! The overall performance was conditioned by a multitude of events; Angerville is a pretty narrow track and it’s easy to have troubles during the race start, in fact some drivers had contacts, others crashed; It is just how racing goes!
I always like to look at the positive side of things, and I believe we’ve been in a good position for this week end in terms of performance. OK Junior is a very competitive class, where drivers count a lot; we need to grow with them, in order to be able to put them in a better position for the upcoming events.

In OK we had our drivers representing Sauber Karting Team, Rosberg Racing Academy and our partner CV Performance. Barnard and Travisanutto did a great job and finished in the Top 10, scoring some important points for the Championship; Patterson won the race, maximizing the result, and he’s now leading the championship. Overall, it’s a big step forward compared to last year.”

FEW WORDS FROM OK WINNER DEXTER PATTERSON, FROM SAUBER KARTING TEAM:

“Almost a perfect week end! During the final I just tried to keep a consistent pace and control the situation behind me, making sure no one was catching me. I’m really happy for the team and we’ll see what happens in Genk, it could be a totally different story. Hopefully we can retain our good pace in that occasion, so I’m looking forward to it!”

Kart Republic is staying in France for the next round of the WSK Euro series, coming this week end.
We have Andreasson and Spina in the Top 10 in OKJ and Travisanutto is currently P6 in OK
