FANTASTIC WEEK END IN SWEDEN. TRAVISANUTTO WINS AGAIN!
Another incredible week end for Kart Republic; third round of the CIK FIA European Championship, third win in a row for our chassis! Travisanutto scored another stunning win in Kristianstad (Sweden), his second consecutive win at the Euro Champ and his fifth overall consecutive win! Congrats to the guys at CV Performance for the amazing job their doing with Lorenzo and with Kart Republic.
Very good performance as well for Patterson (Sauber Karting Team). The Scotsman scored pole position on Friday and lead during the Saturday; he wasn’t lucky in the final, but made it to finish 4th and keep the lead of the Championship.
Unfortunate Sunday for Antonelli (Rosberg Racing Academy), who also scored pole and lead the field on its way to the final, when he struggled for some lack of grip.
Let the protagonists tell us about the week end:
OK RACE WINNER, LORENZO TRAVISANUTTO (CV Performance)
“It’s been a fantastic race! I felt in good shape starting from free practice; something was still missing and the team did a great job to close the gap and give me more pace to win this race. Big thanks to both HTP and Kart Republic for the amazing job; we won the last 5 races, so we are definitely maximizing the potential of this chassis!”
JOCHEN, FROM CV PERFORMANCE:
“Another successful week end for us! Our line of continuous victories remains unbroken still, so big thanks to Dino for helping us with this fight for the Euro Champ.
This time our week end started pretty good, the speed seemed to be there already. Patterson was really strong in the pre-final, so we were not sure enough to have the speed to beat him. Fortunately, everything came together in the final and Lorenzo did a fantastic job!
We’re now going to prepare for the final round in Le Mans.”
OUR GENERAL MANAGER, DINO CHIESA:
“Not much to say about OK, we keep being extremely competitive and we won with Travisanutto again.
I’m sorry about Patterson (Sauber Karting Team); he’s been caught in a messy start (not his fault) and then struggled to get back, so we were probably missing something in terms of performance.
Next round they’re both going to fight for the Championship, so we’re focused on achieving that goal.
I’m happy for Taylor Barnard (Rosberg Racing Academy), as he’s now in 4th position in the Championship.”
