What great week end for Kart Republic! We witnessed some amazing action on track, and both names of Kart Republic and Rosberg Racing Academy achieved incredible results in OK and OKJ classes; Dexter Patterson and Andrea Kimi Antonelli won the 2019 WSK Super Master Series title!

This first part of the season has been pretty tough as we had to face some very high level of competition from all of our great opponents; we proudly faced this challenge together, as a Team. In the end we succeeded!

Dexter Patterson was simply unstoppable in Sarno! After scoring the pole position on Friday, he drove seamlessly all the way to an unrivaled win on Sunday. What a great race week end for the Brit!He has been constantly followed by Taylor Barnard, our driver from Rosberg Racing Academy, who showed a very competitive pace in Sarno.Unfortunately, Han (from Rosberg Racing Academy) wasn’t able to reach the final, despite being fast enough to always be in the Top 10.

Our drivers have been pretty competitive in Sarno, always fighting for the top 10.After a solid Friday and Saturday, with qualifying and eliminatory heats, Antonelli (with Rosberg Racing Academy), couldn’t take part to the final because of a contact happened during the pre-finals. Fortunately, he was retaining a good advantage of points in the championship and that was enough to conquer the title anyway!Amand and Spina were fast during the whole week end, and they concluded P5 and P8. We also had Trisini and Dodds in the Top 15, while Patrese wasn’t lucky in the final, although he showed a good pace throughout the week end.

This week end in Sarno was our first attempt to race in KZ with our KR1 chassis. Our drivers Dreezen, Torsellini, Tonteri and Bizzotto focused on developing our technical package, and we gathered some encouraging information from the track.

Sarno saw the conclusion of this first Championship we made in Mini Class, thanks to the collaboration of our partner Team Driver. We’re satisfied about the results achieved by our driver Bohra, who finished P7 in Sarno.

Dino Chiesa talks about this final round and few upcoming new projects for KR:
I’m really satisfied about winning this WSK Super Master Championship in both OK and OKJ!I’m not so happy about how we won in OKJ; I was hoping to have Antonelli fighting on track but fortunately we got some luck back and won this championship anyway.

I really enjoyed watching Patterson and Barnard racing together in the final, competing for the win. Overall all the guys made a great job, including Travisanutto (with Team HTP); he’s making some development for us, and he keeps being really competitive.

This weekend we presented our partnership with Cetilar, a new project that involves our drivers, Spina (OKJ) and Bergstrom (Mini). We really trust new idea, we’re sure it’s going to pay back in the future.

This week end here in Sarno was our first in KZ, and we used this opportunity to get the experience we need to improve our package for the remaining part of the season.

Also, I’m really happy about our results in Mini class; this is our first year in this class and we closed this championship in the top 5 with Bohra, also thank to the support of our partner Team Driver. Being this our first year in such a competitive class, I think we are already in a good position.

Our Team Manager Richard gives us an overview about the conclusion of this first portion of the 2019 season:

We had a very positive week end here in Sarno. We won the Championship with Antonelli in OKJ, even though he couldn’t actually participate to the final after he had some misfortune during his pre-final. Fortunately, we had enough points to still retain a little bit of advantage, and be at the top of the final rank.

In OK we simply did what we had to do, as we arrived in Sarno with three drivers in the top 3 positions. Patterson, Barnard and Travisanutto (from Team HTP) made a great job and Dexter brought the title home with a massive performance throughout the whole week end!

This week end also signed our debut in KZ; we had lots of things to test, preparing for the next competitions, especially the upcoming European and World Championships. We believe we will come back stronger next week for the first round of the WSK Euro Series in Sarno.

Our drivers with Rosberg Racing Academy did a great job as usual; Antonelli won the Championship in OKJ, Barnard concluded a really solid week end in P2 in OK. Also McQueen was very fast in OK but unlucky during the pre-final, as he had a contact with another driver and couldn’t make it to the final.

Overall we are really satisfied with the outcome and I’d like to thank all the guys who work for us; we always win and lose together, as a family!
